The OSM Aviation recruitment team was in July busy with recruitment days in both Boston and New York, continuing the search for experienced cabin crew for the new B737-MAX bases in Newburgh and Providence. In addition to the U.S – London Gatwick B787 recruitment continues at good pace as LGW surges ahead to reaffirm its place as Norwegian’s largest base.

The joint Norwegian/OSM Aviation Cabin Crew Roadshow was conducted in New York on the 30th and 31st of July 2017. The four day event included candidates who had already been through the online recruitment process, as well as candidates attending an open day information session. The event worked really well, with strong open day candidates being fast-tracked through the recruitment process on the day. The OSM recruitment team was joined by their OSM US HR colleagues, as well as Linda Wahl, current Base Chief Cabin Crew for Stewart International (SWF) and Bille-Jean Corsini, Base Chief Cabin Crew for JFK.

With training courses already full in August and September, current recruitment events for London Gatwick are now focused on filling training in October and beyond. A refreshed, people-oriented OSM advertising campaign was launched for this recruitment and during its first four weeks has attracted over 2500 Applications! A two day recruitment event has already been held during July at the NUK offices in LGW, and a four day recruitment event will take place in the week starting August 7th.
